Adult Faith Formation talk

Our Adult Faith Formation series this year explores the theme "Our Life in Christ: Introduction to Catholic Moral Teaching." The theme of Tuesday's talk will be "The First Commandment."

What is the virtue of religion? Can someone be "just a good person" without being "religious"? How do we worship God in "spirit and in truth"? Do superstition and idolatry still present a risk in our own time? Does our veneration of saints and holy images go against the First Commandment?

This class meets downstairs in the church hall. The parish provides warm and cold beverages. Please feel free to bring snacks to share!
