Life in Christ: A Summer Bible Study For Adults Ages 18–39

In this Bible study, we are going to discuss the many habits of the Christian life, those aspects of “Life in Christ” that we are called to embrace as disciples:

• Sacred Scripture,


• Prayer,


• The Eucharist,


• Confession,


• Christian fellowship,


• Works of mercy,


• and the call to go out on mission.

Over eight weeks, we’ll walk through what it means to say yes to following Christ and how that “yes” shapes every area of our lives.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore your faith or looking to go deeper, this study will challenge and encourage you. Bring a bible with you! (RSV, NAB, or NRSV are good translations)

Solemn Latin Mass for the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, featuring music by Palestrina and Byrd. After Mass there will be an outdoor procession with Marian hymns, and then the traditional blessing of fruit and herbs.

Please feel free to bring fresh fruit or herbs, which you can place on the table by the processional statue before the start of Mass.

Ave Maria Young Adult Meetings

Join the Ave Maria Young Adult Group for monthly evenings of prayer, fellowship, and faith formation at St. Mary’s Parish in Bethel, CT. Our gatherings are open to all young adults seeking to grow in their relationship with Christ while building meaningful friendships within the Catholic community.

Each meeting begins with 30 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by fellowship, discussion, and activities designed to encourage spiritual growth and authentic community.
