Greater Bridgeport Young Adult Bible Study

6:30pm – 8:00pm
Greater Bridgeport’s Young Adult Bible Study is back on Tuesday evenings for the Lenten and Easter liturgical seasons!

Through a combination of private home study and group discussion, we will examine the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel and its connection to two New Testament books, that of Hebrews and the Apocalypse, and the revelation given to St. John on the Island of Patmos.

Required materials for this study include:

  • The Bible (see USCCB approved translations)

  • The Catechism of the Catholic Church (accessible online)

  • Come and See: Ezekiel, Hebrews, and Revelation (ISBN 10: 1931018650 / ISBN 13: 9781931018654) by Fr. Andreas Hoeck and Laurie Watson Manhardt.

    • New digital or print study guides may be purchased directly from the St. Paul Center for $24.95. Copies in good condition are available for less money from used book sellers on AbeBooks and eBay.




Our study will be offered for fifteen weeks from Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, through June 10, 2025, from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. We will meet in the Munro Room of the Faith Center at St. Pius X Parish, 834 Brookside Dr, Fairfield, CT 06824.

Come join in a new Lenten tradition for our young adult golfers! We will be meeting at Sterling Farms Golf Course and Driving Range for some golf, then head to St. Cecilia’s Church (a 2 minute drive away) to participate in the Stations of the Cross together. This is a great opportunity to walk with Jesus every week, but also mingle with other young Catholic golf enthusiasts! Please bring your own clubs and $$ for balls, no clubs provided.

Summary: Join us for a weekend of silence and prayer for young women ages 18 to 35, this retreat includes time and space to encounter the Lord, Mass on Saturday and Sunday, opportunities for Sacramental Confession, and Eucharistic adoration. The Sisters will give conferences throughout on topics such as Introduction to Prayer and The Feminine Heart. The silence is broken only for these conferences, for a personal meeting with a Sister, and an optional time of fellowship, should you desire it.
