Evening Prayer w/School Sisters of Notre Dame

8:00pm

The North American Vocation Team (NAVT) of the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) invites young adults ages 18 and older to a monthly online evening prayer on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST (7 p.m. CST) via Zoom. Upcoming dates for evening prayer are September 26, October 24 and November 28. More information and registration for the Zoom links is available at ssnd.org/events/.

The online prayer typically lasts about an hour. Participants experience evening prayer in the rhythm of the Liturgy of the Hours interspersed with faith sharing and/or other prayer styles such as Lectio Divina, Taizé or Contemplative prayer.

“Since 2020, our online evening prayer has allowed us to connect regularly with sisters and young adults all across the U.S. and Canada,” said Sister Bridget Waldorf of the NAVT. “We enjoy sharing our daily communal prayer with those who are seeking to better recognize and understand God’s presence in their lives.”

The NAVT accompanies young adults as they discern God’s call while informing them about religious life and especially the mission and charism of SSND, an international community of almost 2,000 women religious founded in Bavaria in 1833. Learn more at ssnd.org.

NOW – Night Of Worship

NOW (Night Of Worship) is happening on October 27th at 7:00 PM at St. Mary Parish in Ridgefield, Connecticut. NOW’s mission is to engage young adult Catholics (18-35) in the act we were made for: uniting ourselves to the One Who we desire and offering ourselves as an act of praise. We were made for worship, now and for eternity. This life is not just rehearsal, and this night will serve as a glimpse into our eternity with our Creator.

We’ll hear a witness, have a Holy Hour (with Adoration, Confession, prayer teams from Encounter School of Ministry: Fairfield County Campus, and praise & worship music), and young adult fellowship with leaders from several young adult communities present to provide you with the chance to find community.

Click here to pre-register and find out more! You can also leave us your prayer requests. This is open to all young adults (18-35).
