Feast of Christ the King

Latin High Mass with chant, polyphony, organ and trumpet for the feast of Christ the King, followed by procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

As the titular feast of the Institute of Christ the King (the religious community which staffs the Oratory), on the feast of Christ the King it is possible to gain a plenary indulgence by attending Mass here.

When Pope Pius XI established the feast of Christ the King in 1925, he fixed it to the last Sunday in October, the Sunday before the feast of All Saints, since Christ exercises his kingship here and now already, especially through his saints.
